Just a short walk down the hill through a beautiful jungle trail you arrive at Playa Maderas, the gem of San Juan Del Sur.  Here you will find consistent waves and a bohemian beach vibe.   Playa Marsella on other hand offers a tranquil setting perfect for a sunset walk or a lobster dinner served up at one of the small local beachfront restaurants.

Most guests who have stayed at Arte-Sano explain that it feels like you are in someone’s house…Well you are.  The owners, Josh Thomas & Mirna Bravo, spent a few years living and entertaining in the Arte-Sano Villa before finally deciding to open the doors to the public.  Before doing such they spent a year collecting art, remodeling, and defining what Arte-Sano would become.  

Once inside you will find unique art and decor from Nicaragua and around the world that ranges from beautiful pottery to huge oil panted canvases.  This collection of art, style, and architecture is successfully tied together with a familiar sentiment of every day Nicaraguan culture by the use of authentic antiques and artifacts found in the local rural lifestyle.
